Cobbler Dough

I found this recipe written on the back of an old Farmers and Merchants bank deposit slip. I thought I would include it because I would like to try it tomorrow night, I'm picking up an order of frozen peaches that come from Utah.

1 cup flour sifted with 1/2 cup sugar
2 level tsps baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt
Add 1/4 cup Crisco(I'll use butter)and mix well with pie dough blender
Add 1/2 cup sweet milk and mix
Melt 1/2 stick Oleo(I'll use butter) in cobbler pan
Pour dough in pan
Add fruit on top(that's interesting because I've always added my dough on top of fruit)
Bake at 350 degrees until done
