The Best Hot Dog Ever!

When Daddy would be out of town on business this is something that Mother would make. It is the ULTIMATE comfort food! Take a hot dog and cut a slit lengthwise about halfway through the dog. Insert a slice of cheese(American Cheese is what we had)cut to fit. Then top with a slice of bacon the length of the dog, secure with a couple of toothpicks on either end and broil until bacon is crispy. This is sooooo good, especially with a side of macaroni and cheese.
